Kinotoriko
An illustrator, graphic designer and poet with a degree in English and American literature, Kinotoriko studied design at the Kodansha school. As an illustrator, she has worked in the field of publishing and advertising, designing watches, T-shirts, lamps, and so on. She often creates wall paintings and fabric and packaging designs. Kinotoriko is the name of a person, but it is also the name used when her team is engaged in the production of picture-visual books. Her great interest in the literature of nonsense has led her to produce a series of books of “bilingual poems with illustrations” and, in particular, the book What a colourful life!, made up of a few texts and conceived mainly as a game-book, selected for the Bologna Book Fair in 2003.
