A graphic designer, Steven Guarnaccia has had his designs published in numerous magazines and newspapers, including The New York Times, where he was art director of the opinion page for three years. A contributor to MoMA and numerous companies in the field of industrial design, he has designed jewellery, watches for Swatch, murals for Disney Cruise, carpets, ties and a wide range of objects for different brands. He has published illustrated collections of palindromes, children’s books and pop-up books and was a long-time contributor to Abitare. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Illustration at Parsons The New School for Design in New York. His work has been shown in exhibitions in the United States and Europe and has won major international awards. Guarnaccia is the artist who designed the ÓPLA logo.
